Cumbrian Helen Housby starred as England stunned old rivals Australia in the Netball World Cup.
Housby produced a flawless shooting performance as the Vitality Roses claimed a dramatic 56-55 victory.
The Cumbrian was named player of the match as Jess Thirlby's side landed a blow on one of their major rivals ahead of the semi-finals.
The final Pool F game saw England maintain their 100 per cent record in the tournament in South Africa.
Things were nip and tuck all the way with the lead changing hands more than once and England at one stage eight points adrift.

But England produced a nerveless finish, aided by Housby's 100 per cent shooting accuracy, to claim their first win over the Diamonds since 2019.
Head coach Jess Thirlby told the BBC: “It’s a massively important moment for this group because it adds to our confidence bank, but we know it means nothing if we can’t follow it up.
“I think it’s the fact we were eight down and then to be pushed in the last 15 minutes and still come out on top, I don’t think you can under-estimate mentally what that tells you about where this group is at.”
They will now play the runners-up in Pool G in Saturday's semi-final.
