Four Co-op workers from Cumbria would take part in a skydive on Monday, raising more than £1000 for charity.
Donna Quayle, Chris Bowes, Andrew Harris and Melanie Watson, who work on the management team at the Co-op in Egremont, took the plunge on Monday, August 7 in order to raise money for Samaritans.
Their initial attempts to complete the skydive in July were delayed due to high winds but the weather was kind to them on Monday, and they were able to complete the skydive with no issues.
The team at Egremont has so far raised £1105 on their JustGiving page, while customers have also donated in-store.
On Facebook, they wrote: "Wow what an unreal experience today. The weather was awesome and we got to do our Skydive for Samaritans
"We would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone that has donated on our just giving page, friends, family, and all our lovely customers at Egremont Co-op."
