A POPULAR comedian from Canada who has featured on BBC's Mock the Week is set to perform in Carlisle later this year.
Tom Stade will perform his new show Natural Born Killer at the Old Fire Station on Wednesday, October 4.
Described as 'stand-up elite' by the UK comedy website Chortle, the 52-year-old promises a show that 'toys with the complexities of our ever-changing world' and 'muses on progressiveness and pronouns'.
Well-known for his distinctive 'drunken Canadian' accent, the comedian has performed at the Edinburgh Festival and has appeared on British TV shows such as Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, and The Comedy Store.
Stade has wowed sell-out audiences across the UK for the past two decades and remains one of 'the most compelling, instinctive' stand-ups around.
The show is set to begin at 8pm, with tickets available on the Old Fire Station website for £18.50.
