Young Cumbrian athletes brought home a host of medals from two major championships on both sides of the border.
The Scottish Athletics Senior and Under-17 Championships as well as the Northern England Under-13/Under-15/Under-17 Championships saw plenty of success.
Carlisle hammer thrower Joshua Reibbitt won gold at both events - in the space of 18 hours.
The Carlisle-Aspatria athlete won the Scottish Under-17 title with a throw of 50.65m.
A throw of 47.19m, meanwhile, was enough to seal Reibbitt the northern title the following morning.
It saw the young Cumbrian add to his growing collection of titles.
The Northern championships at Middlesbrough also brought gold for Border Harrier Victoria Chapman in the Under-15 girls’ high jump as she cleared 1m50.
Seaton Athletics Club’s Lorton Curnow claimed the Under-15 boys’ 200m title in a time of 23.23secs.
That saw Curnow add to a bronze medal in the Under-15 100m final when he clocked 11.65secs.
Kira Jones from Kendal came away with the Under-17 girls’ 80m hurdles title at the Northern championships with a time of 11.49secs.
Also at Middlesbrough there was silver for Border Harriers’ Ben Nutter in the men’s Under-17 800m final as he timed 2.00.37.
A silver also went to Callum Harrogate from Border Harriers in the Under-17 javelin, as he threw 44.33m.
Frederick Strong claimed a silver for Border too with a 4.58m leap in the Under-13 boys’ long jump.
Seaton’s Anton Quigley claimed bronze in the Under-17 shot put with a throw of 11.17m.
A number of Cumbrian officials also gave up their time to help officiate at the Northern Championships.
In the Scottish Championships at Grangemouth, meanwhile, Border Harriers’ Dale Clark took bronze in the under-17 javelin with a throw of 42.91m.
And Annan & District’s Matilda Brockley also had a successful championships, winning gold in the under-17 triple jump with a jump of 11.48m – whilst also taking silver in the long jump and 80m hurdles.
This Saturday, meanwhile, the Sheepmount at Carlisle will see Cumbria School of Hammer hold a competition where Joshua Reibbitt plus Under-15 northern hammer champion Alfie Dodds will be attending.
The competition gets under way at 10am.
