oreA major border road will be closed for four nights so roadworks can be carried out.
The works on the A6071 Gretna to Longtown are scheduled to start on Monday, August 21, 2023, with the road being closed from 7pm to 6am the following morning for four nights.
There will be assigned diversion route in place, and people are advised by Cumberland Council to plan their journeys accordingly.
Access will be maintained for emergency services and MOD during the works.
