More great results for A Level students have beenb pouring in for two Cumbrian schools.
West Coast Sixth Form and William Howard School, both run by Cumbria Education Trust, have reported their top performers.
West Coast Sixth Form produced stellar grades for a diversity of subjects.
Isaac Fillingham got two As in computer science and core maths, and two Dist* in digital media and IT – he’s heading to Liverpool to study computer science with software development.
Jessica Holliday got three As in English literature, religious studies, and her extended project, and a B in history – she’s heading to Leeds to study English literature.
Isla Parkes got two Dist* in business and applied science, an A in core maths and a B in geography – she’s heading to Newcastle to study business managements.
Finally, Luke Thompson got an A* in maths, two As in further maths and physics, and a B in chemistry – he’s heading to Sheffield to study physics and astrophysics.
William Howard School boasted three students with mathematical and scientific prowess.
Rebecca Storey got four A*s in chemistry, physics, maths, and further maths – she’s heading to Durham to study maths.
Olivia McPherson got an A* in biology and two As in chemistry and maths – she’s heading to Glasgow to study medicine.
Finally, Jenson Copley got two A*s in maths and physics and an A in chemistry – he’s heading to Lancaster to study physics and astrophysics.
