A 'bust-a-gut-funny' comedian who is best known for reaching the semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent is set to perform in Cumbria later this year.
Myra Dubois is a stage persona portrayed by Gareth Joyner, a stand-up comedian and drag performer from Rotherham.
The 32-year-old appeared on Britain's Got Talent in 2020 and reached the semi-finals of the competition after leaving the judges in stitches, while also memorably performing a duet with Amanda Holden.
Myra would also appear as herself in the film adaptation of Everybody's Talking About Jamie.
Now fresh from an appearance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the comedian, who was described as 'bust-a-gut-funny' by Graham Norton, will perform her Be Well set at Carlisle's Old Fire Station on Thursday, October 19.
The show begins at 7:30 pm, with tickets available for £17.50 on the Old Fire Station website.
