New research has revealed the UK’s best regions to pick your own pumpkin.

The list compiled by meal box delivery company HelloFresh analysed the number of pumpkin patches per region along with the average family admission cost. 

The South East and North West of England came second and third, respectively.

Whilst the East of England took the top spot with 16 pumpkin patches in the region at an average family entry cost of £22.

In the North West the average family admission price based on two adults and two children was £13. 

In North Cumbria Walby Farm Park offers pumpkin picking along with other locations across the north and south of the county and in The Lakes.
