The tracks will come alive this weekend as two stream locomotives race down the Cumbria coast line.
On Saturday September 30, The Railway Touring Company's Cumbrian Coast Express will journey from Carlisle to Carnforth.
Although the make and model of the steam train has not yet been confirmed, the timings show it is expected to leave Carlisle at 1.16pm.
The route will take the first steam train to Maryport at 2.05pm and on to Whitehaven at 2:42pm. You can pop out to your local station to see the steamer pass from St Bees at 2.54pm, Foxfield at 4pm, Kirkby-in-Furness estimated 4.05pm, Askam 4.09pm and Barrow at 4.28pm.
The train will carry on to Dalton at 4.36pm and will pass through Ulverston at 4.45pm before heading to Grange-over-Sands at 4.58pm and finishing at Carnforth at 5.13pm.
According to West Cumberland Railway Museum, Saphos Train's Lakelander is the second steam engine to travel the Coast Line this Saturday.
It will start from Hereford, and reach Carlisle at 3.30pm, the train will travel through Wigton, Maryport and Workington to call in at Whitehaven at 4.38pm.
After appearing at St Bees around 4.48pm, the steamer will travel to Millom where it will rest and have a water stop from 5.30pm to 5.55pm.
The train will be in Foxfield at 6.04pm, Kirkby-in-Furness estimated 6.07pm, Askam at 6.12pm and Barrow at 6.27pm.
It will travel through Dalton at 6.35pm and hit Ulverston at 6.46pm, before heading to Grange-over-Sands at 6.59 and arriving at Carnforth at 7.19pm.
