Carlisle Comic Con has confirmed another special guest ahead of the highly-anticipated 2024 event.
Sophie Aldred, who played the Seventh Doctor's companion, Ace, in the television series Doctor Who during the late 1980s, will appear in Carlisle next year.
The 59-year-old also appeared in Jodie Whittaker's final adventure in 2022, with Ncuti Gatwa set to take over as the new Doctor later this year.
She will join Chris Barrie, best known for his role as Rimmer in Red Dwarf, and Chris Rankin, who played Percy Weasley in the Harry Potter film series.
Organised by Wonky Rocket Events, the convention will return to the Richard Rose Academy on Saturday, March 23 between 10.30 am and 4.30 pm.
Nigel Parkinson and Nika Nartova, both of whom have worked as artists on the famous Beano comic, have also been confirmed as special guests.
Tickets for Carlisle Comic Con are now on sale online and cost £12 for adults and £6 for under 13s.
