A DRIVER who was unfit through drugs has been banned from the roads for a year.
Jack Bulman, 32, drove a Mini Cooper while unfit through drugs on Dalston Road in Carlisle on February 25.
The defendant admitted the offence when he appeared before magistrates in Carlisle.
He was banned from driving for 12 months and given a 12-month community order with a three-month drug rehabilitation requirement and 10 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
Bulman, of Raffles Avenue, Carlisle, was fined £120. He must also pay £85 costs and a £114 victim surcharge.
