On Sunday, a new Greggs store creating 20 jobs was opened in Caledonia Park.

The store will offer freshly prepared favourites like the pumpkin spice latte and new autumn hot drinks such as hazelnut mocha and hazelnut hot chocolate.

Customers can also indulge in freshly-made bakes and sweet treats; these goods are available for on-the-go customers, and can also be ordered for Click + Collect via the Greggs App.

Throughout the day, Greggs’ deals will be running, including its famed breakfast combinations that are served until 11 am.

The breakfast deal includes a breakfast roll or baguette alongside an orange juice or hot drink.

The range of hot beverages available at the new shop, such as, the velvety smooth flat white and warming peppermint tea, are 100 per cent Fairtrade.

Shop Manager Zuzanna Otolska said: “We can’t wait to welcome both Greggs fans and new customers to our brand-new shop. We’ve got an amazing range of tasty bakes, hot drinks, sweet treats and savouries available for takeaway or Click + Collect.”

The new outlet, complete with a fresh look and comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, is open from Monday to Saturday, 8am-7pm and on Sunday, 9am-6pm.

Gillian Long, Retail Operations Director for Greggs, said: “Our new shop in Caledonia Park has brought 20 new jobs to the local area, as well as providing customers with a modern, convenient new place to experience their favourite Greggs food.”

The Gretna shop also includes a Nuttall Unit for the purchase of Greggs favourite hot items such as southern fried chicken goujons and potato wedges.
