Students from a Carlisle primary school have marked this year’s harvest festival by collecting items of food for Carlisle foodbank.

Upperby Primary School celebrated this year's harvest with a special harvest assembly led by Reverend Sarah and Nel from St John the Baptist Church.

The children learnt about what harvest is, where food comes from and how we can help those in need.

Upperby Primary School collected a range of food items as part of its annual festival.
