An 18-year-old woman from Carlisle has recently launched a business selling Croc charms in person and online.

Caitlin Shepherdson can be seen selling her wares at her 'Croc-a-style' location in Carlisle market hall on Fridays and Saturdays, while she also sells in Silloth.

She started the business a few months ago after a £200 loan from her dad Andy and it has proven to be incredibly popular, so much so that she was able to quit her previous job at the chippy.

She said: "I discovered a love for wearing crocs. I found a supplier, ordered some charms, and thought about where and how can I do this. I looked around and found Carlisle Market Hall and Silloth market. I started doing some stalls and it just grew from there. I customise Crocs and do custom orders for charms.

"I really enjoy it. I left my old job for it because I was making three times the amount in one day than I was in one week at the chip shop."
