A man had been arrested as part of a national operation targeting GPS tractor thefts following a theft in Cumbria.
On October 12 Lincolnshire police arrested a 34-year-old man from Daventry on suspicion of burglary and theft and released on conditional bail.
The arrest follows the report of a theft, in which a GPS unit was taken from a farm in North Cumbria overnight on October 10
The national operation includes officers from Lincolnshire Police, Cheshire, Northamptonshire and the National Rural Crime Unit.

Supt Andy Huddleston, National Rural Crime Unit said "The response of Cumbria Police’s Rural Crime Unit to the theft of these GPS units has been excellent.
"The operation has been significant in helping tackle the organised crime groups involved in the national theft of this equipment.”
Operation Lantern is the constabulary’s dedicated operation to target rural crime within Cumbria. The operation aims to prevent and disrupt serious and organised rural acquisitive crime that occurs in our county.
