The M6 southbound in Cumbria has reopened once again this morning.
It was closed yesterday evening, October 16, following a 'serious collision.'
A spokesperson said: "The scene is now clear and the M6 in Cumbria has re-opened southbound between J42 (Carlisle) and J41 (Penrith) following a serious collision.
"Thank you for your patience, please have a safe onward journey."
