The Kings Arms Hotel in Keswick is offering 40p pints of beer throughout November.
Nestled in the picturesque Lake District, the 17th century coaching inn has launched this unique promotion to bring some cheer as the days grow shorter.
The promotion allows patrons to enjoy a 40p pint of Carlsberg or Wainwright Ale when they order any main course from the pub's vast food menu in either the bar or restaurant.
The low-cost pints are up for grabs daily from 11.30am to 3pm, making for a pleasant and affordable lunchtime experience.
Each customer can only purchase one 40p pint and it must be ordered simultaneously with the main course.
Dani Hope, Director of Lake District Hotels, said: "We're raising our glasses to an unforgettable November!
"We realise that November can be more of a subdued month as people adjust to shorter days and prepare for Christmas, so it will be nice to bring some much-needed joy to the town with this fun promotion."
The 40p pint promotion is a part of a series of year-long festivities celebrating the hotel's 40th anniversary as part of the family-owned Lake District Hotels group.
Other fun birthday promotions include the launch of a Birthday Ale, a Ruby Gin exclusive to the hotel, and special room promotions available throughout the year.
The pint promotion also coincides with the start of the hotel's Christmas celebrations.
There will be festive decorations, twinkling lights, and the launch of a new, indulgent festive dining menu.
Sean Thomas, General Manager of the Kings Arms Hotel, said: "We’re thrilled that the 40p pints promotion coincides with the launch of our festive menu and anticipate that many guests will opt to sample some of the seasonal dishes and embrace the Christmas spirit."
The inn has recently undergone extensive refurbishments on the ground floor, introducing a more charismatic and quirky atmosphere whilst preserving the historical charm of the property.
The improvements have earned positive feedback from locals and tourists alike.
