Get your little ones ready for an action-packed series of Fireman Sam where a Cumbrian icon will join the new cast.

The Pontypandy Rescue Team welcomes an exciting new addition as Penny's cousin, Farmer Annie Morris—voiced by none other than the beloved Blue Peter and Countryfile's Helen Skelton—steps onto the scene.

With 26 new episodes including a Halloween double episode special, the latest series, brought to you by Mattel Television and WildBrain, promises a whirlwind of excitement, laughter, and important safety lessons for preschool children.

Back with the iconic Pontypandy locations, rescue vehicles and characters that we know and love, series 15 of Fireman Sam brings some new and very special surprises. 

This includes the arrival of Penny’s cousin Farmer Annie Morris and the new location of her farm.

Helen, who quit her BBC5 Live gig earlier this year, was captured in high spirits as she posed in front of her new character.

Speaking about her new role of Annie Morris, Helen Skelton said: “I'm thrilled to be a part of the Fireman Sam family and lend my voice to the spirited character of Farmer Annie Morris.

"This series is packed with adventures and important life lessons for kids, and I can't wait for everyone to see it.”

Helen is a mother of three and has Ernie, eight, Louis, five, and 19-month-old daughter Elsie with ex Richie.

After leaving Strictly Come Dancing she revealed her endless love for her children as she said all she wanted to do was make them proud. 

"I just wanted to make my kids proud"

"Look I just wanted to make my kids proud. So we didn't quite bring home that trophy but we made memories that would make a lifetime," she explained.

The presenter added that winning "would have been the perfect way to say thank you" for the good that Strictly did for her emotionally.

"If I could bottle that atmosphere from Saturday, it'll see me through any dark days. It was just the most wonderful feeling. It just goes to show what happens when you surround yourself with good people."
