Dog lovers in Carlisle are invited to a charity celebration filled with canine-friendly activities this month.
The Rosehill's WCF Pet & Equestrian store is holding an event on Saturday, October 28, to mark the launch of its own brand of dog food.
Furry companions can enjoy an afternoon tea made just for dogs, with a menu featuring dog-friendly cupcakes and Pawsecco.
The event also offers complimentary goodie bags and a special selfie-stand.
There will also be free nutritional advice and one-to-one sessions for solving common pet problems.
Proceeds from the day will go to the WCF team's chosen charity, Carlisle-based Miracle’s Mission, with on-the-day collections and specially curated goodie bags for sale, ready to aid the charity.
The celebration at the Carlisle store follows similar events at the Penrith, Ulverston and Cockermouth branches which drew hundreds of visitors and their pets.
Jade Earley, General Manager of WCF Pet & Equestrian, said: “Our previous events have been a huge success and we’re looking forward to welcoming customers to our Carlisle store for our next celebration day.”
Running from 10am to 4pm, the festivities include local artists' pop-up shops, a prize draw, and pet competitions.
One lucky pet could become the next WCF Top Canine Model, earning features on WCF's social media channels.
This celebration also introduces WCF’s own line of premium dry dog food, The Lakes Collection.
The collection has been inspired by the company's long-standing Cumbrian heritage and connection to the Lake District.
The range boasts four UK-made products: Lakes Legacy, Lakes Heritage, Lakes Established and Lakes Pioneer.
Using responsibly sourced ingredients, this high-quality protein meal is enriched with naturally sourced vitamins and minerals, containing no artificial colours or preservatives.
WCF staff, with their expertise in pet needs, will provide advice on the best product selection for different pets.
Interested parties can visit the Carlisle store’s Facebook page for more information.
