Half term promises a fun-filled week for families in Carlisle, with exciting activities lined up each day.
Monday, October 23, sees Walby Farm Park opening its spectacular pumpkin-filled fields to the public.
Children can pick their own pumpkin, carve it into a spooky masterpiece, interact with farm animals, and enjoy delicious treats in the Cowshed Cafe.
Entry to the park must be reserved online, with each child receiving their pick of the pumpkins as part of their ticket.
They will also have access to the indoor and outdoor adventure play areas.

Next up, on Tuesday, October 24, Carlisle Cathedral is hosting a starry sky art event at 2pm.
This spectacular art session, as a part of the Dark Skies Festival, caters to kids aged between 5 and 10 years.
Children can gaze at the ceiling before creating their own piece of artwork.
The session costs £2 per child, with adults attending for free.

Families can channel their inner soldier on Wednesday, October 25, at Cumbria's Museum of Military Life.
Included in the admission fee is a special half-term workshop.
Kids can participate in making badges, medals and lolly stick soldiers, while dressing up in real army uniforms and trying camo cream to camouflage themselves.
No booking is required, and families can drop in anytime between 11am and 3pm.
Vue Carlisle is throwing open its doors on Thursday, October 26, with a variety of family films showing.
Movie choices for the day include Trolls Band Together, Paw Patrol and Hey Duggee Cinema Outing, which shows seven episodes on the big screen.
For older children, aged 12 and above, Taylor Swift, The Eras Tour, offers an immersive cinematic experience.
To wrap up the week, The Spectacular Bubble Show will be held at Tullie on Friday, October 27.
Audiences will be enthralled by the World’s Tallest Bubbleologist, who captivates with massive bubbles, tiny bubbles, bubble sculptures, smoke bubbles and even fire bubbles.
Shows are scheduled at for 2pm and 4pm on Thursday, and 11am and 1pm on Friday,
