A popular beer festival will return to Carlisle this week for its 31st year.
Organised by the local Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) branch the event has been a firm fixture in the Carlisle calendar since its first edition in October 1977.
After cancellations in 2020 and 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic, the festival returned to the border city with great success in 2022.
The event runs from Thursday, October 26 until Saturday, October 28, at the Station Hotel in the city centre.
There will be around 50 varieties of real ales and ciders to choose from, but many will likely sell out.
The event will start at 2pm on Thursday, and 12pm on Friday and Saturday, before finishing at 11pm each night.
Tickets cost £5, or £3 for CAMRA members, and are available to buy on the door.
