THE coming darkness of winter has been embraced in Penrith, with the annual Winter Droving festival conjuring an array of weird and wonderful delights.
For more than a decade, fire, music, and masks have descended on the town centre each year.
This year's festival, organised by Eden Arts, has been described as the 'biggest and best yet'.
