Eden police and rural crime teams made arrests this week in the Durham area.
Two people were arrested in relation to quad bikes being stolen in a burglary.
A spokesperson said: "This morning the team, joined by our force lead for rural crime, headed over to Durham with colleagues from our tactical support group, response, and Eden Police.
"With the assistance of Bishop Auckland Police, two people were arrested in relation to the quads stolen in burglaries earlier this month.
"Two addresses were also searched, and items have been seized. Colleagues from our CID department travelled to deal with those arrested.
"Traveling criminals- you were warned. We can travel too and will continue to do so in order to bring offenders to justice."
