Details of a second major bare-knuckle boxing event in west Cumbria have been confirmed.
After the success of its first show in Whitehaven in August, the sport will return to the area next March.
The second WBKB event will be staged in the CRL Warehouse on the Lillyhall Industrial Estate on Saturday, March 23.
Some of the fights have already been announced, with tickets also now on sale.
WBKB made the announcement on Facebook, where they said: "All at team WBKB are delighted to announce the venue for our next event which will take place on Saturday 23rd March 2024.
"Following on from the success of our first event we can confirm that our huge second event will take place at the CRL Warehouse on the Lillyhall Industrial Estate
"Situated in between the towns of Workington and Whitehaven the venue offers a big capacity event in a rustic setting that offers an authentic fight club feel that will combine the raw excitement that a BKB event offers with the high quality spectator experience that WBKB offers.
"The event will have debutants including local combat sport stars, and an array of experienced fighters, with titles yet again on the line."
Confirmed fights on the card include Glenn Scrafton versus Gretna-based Matt Sutton, and Workington's Martin Smith taking on Andy Nunn.
More fights are set to be confirmed. Tickets are priced £45 (standard) and £65 (VIP). Contact WBKB via social media or by calling 07568729822.
Peter Gilmour, part of the organising team, told the News & Star after August's event that it was hoped to grow the sport in the county and showcase local talent.
“We want to help raise that awareness. We’ve got highly-skilled, trained fighters here putting on a show for the paying public. It’s not a place for people off the street, have-a-go heroes and things like that," he said.
“We’re trying to establish a pathway for people in Cumbria and beyond to come on a well-run show and really make their names in bare-knuckle boxing.
