A CROWN Court judge is to sentence a 28-year-old Carlisle man who has admitted stealing tools and equipment from his employer.
The city’s Rickergate Magistrates' Court heard that Kyle Robinson, of Hallin Crescent, Carlisle, stole equipment and tools worth £13,774 from his workplace, EFM Fleet Services, between August 31 and September 14.
The thefts happened in Carlisle, according to the charge.
The defendant pleaded guilty to a single offence of theft by employee.
After the details of the offending were outlined in court, the case was sent to Carlisle Crown Court for a sentence hearing on November 28.
In the meantime, the defendant was granted unconditional bail.
