One of the founders of the legendary heavy metal band Iron Maiden is set to perform in Carlisle early next year with his band British Lion.
Musician and songwriter Steve Harris formed British Lion, and they will return to the UK for a 16-date winter tour to kick off the new year, performing at The Brickyard in Carlisle on Friday, January 12, 2024.
British Lion are a popular hard rock band, whose most well-known song Lightning boasts more than 1 million streams on Spotify.
Harris comments: "We’re all excited to announce an extensive tour of the UK in January, kicking off with a special warm-up show at the Cart and Horses in London. Tony Moore’s Awake (one-man show) will be our very special guest for the tour. Tony was, of course, in Iron Maiden back in 1977 so it is great to have him on the bill."
Doors open at 7.30pm with tickets available for £20 on The Brickyard's website.
