Accountancy firm Armstrong Watson is set to open its doors to budding financial professionals on November 16.
The first public event at their new Rosehill headquarters, James Watson House, seeks to enlighten go-getters about work experience opportunities, summer internships, AAT apprenticeships, and ACA graduate opportunities in accountancy.
At the open evening, attendees will hear from current team leaders and newly qualified personnel about their journey with the firm.
There will also be guided tours of the state-of-the-art office.
Richard Andrew, Partner and Head of Accounting, said: “Armstrong Watson gives trainees a strong financial background that opens up a lot of doors.
"The AAT apprenticeship qualification will set you up well for pretty much any role.
"You can start your career off and be working and earning along the way, and, if you have that ambition, you can run through your AAT qualification, progress to your chartered qualification and ultimately be a partner in an accountancy firm.
“I’d welcome anyone who is interested to join us for our open evening to find out more about the fantastic opportunities we have to offer.”
Recognised among the UK's most outstanding apprenticeship employers for the second year running, Armstrong Watson has a rich history of fostering talent, with some existing Partners starting as students.
Earlier this year, the firm further cemented its commitment to apprenticeships through a partnership with the Association of Apprentices.
The free to attend open evening starts at 6pm.
Places are limited, and interested parties must secure tickets via Eventbrite.
Parents, teachers, and career leads are also welcome to attend.
Armstrong Watson is now recruiting for its 2024 AAT and ATT apprenticeship intake, which includes eight positions based in Cumbria.
A total of 22 vacancies are open for applications until April 1, 2024.

The firm is also accepting applications for its ACA chartered accountancy programme.
Positions are available across their offices in northern England and Scotland.
Candidates should apply online at armstrongwatson.info/ACA before November 26.
