A NUMBER of flood warnings and flood alerts have been place on Cumbria as Storm Debi continues to batter the UK.
From 10am this morning Cumbrians have been cautioned of Storm Debi's approach, which holds intense rain and high winds, and authorities have warned of danger to life.
The new warning level marks an upgrade from the yellow wind warning issued and is due to end at 6pm.

The Met Office have also updated their page of flood warnings and alerts this afternoon with 18 warnings and alerts being in place across the county.
