An annual canary show is set to mesmerise Low Hesket with its vibrantly coloured birds on December 10.

The event, conducted by the Cumbria Border and Fife Fancy Canary Club, is eagerly participated in by canary breeders known as 'fanciers', flocking from all over North England and Southern Scotland.
