Cumberland Council invites residents to its annual Christmas Memorial Services at Distington Hall Crematorium on December 13 and 14 at 6pm.
The meaningful events, held to commemorate loved ones, are free, though tickets must be secured in advance due to limited attendance.
Residents can register their attendance or contribute names for an on-screen tribute by calling 01946 598305 or emailing distingtonhalladmin@copeland.gov.uk before December 1.
Distington Walled Garden Café will be offering soup and a roll for £5, alongside homemade mince pies and cakes available from 4.30pm, on the memorial service dates.
Cafe bookings on 01946 598305 are recommended, as spaces restrict capacity.
Alongside this, others events at the Walled Garden include a festive Fete, scheduled for November 25, 10am-4pm.
Activities such as artisan stalls, an ensemble band, falconry and owl displays, Father Christmas, and even alpacas promise merriment.
The café will serve food from 10am-2pm, with refreshments and cakes and scones served between 2pm-3pm.
For more festive cheer, attend the Walled Garden Café for carols by Harps North West.
Tickets for the December 4 event, 2pm-3pm, include refreshments for £7.50.
Tickets can be attained from the café, by calling 01946 593090/01946 593098 or emailing distingtonwalledgardens@copeland.gov.uk.
