And fans of the cleaning guru Mrs Hinch have a cheap and cheerful solution that could help you.
Mrs Hinch - otherwise known as Sophie Hinchcliffe - is well-known and beloved for sharing cleaning tips and tricks.
We have recently been sharing these tips including how to unblock your sink, how you can dry your clothes indoors without a dryer and how to get a streak-free shower to name just a few.
What can you pour down a toilet to unclog it?
One of the most recent dilemmas involves one member looking for the best way to unclog their loo.
Taking to the community group, the Facebook user queried: "Best way to unblock a toilet."
Many Mrs Hinch fans shared their solutions in the comments with suggestions ranging everything from a makeshift plunger (a mop and a binbag) to bicarbonate soda and vinegar.
However, one product dominated the comments section and it's a product that you can pick up at all the major supermarkets, including for 69p at Tesco and Aldi.
One member shared: "Hot water and liquid soap in a bucket poured down it."
Another cleaning fanatic commented: "Dish soap, let sit for an hour then pour a bucket of boiling water down! It will clear it!"

A third chimed in: "My upstairs toilet regularly gets blocked by the kids so they are banished from using it.
"I squirt washing up liquid in the toilet alot and I have a builders bucket I fill it with hot water and pour it down as fast as I can after 2 goes its sorted."
With a fourth writing: "Washing up liquid, boiling water, leave 10 minutes and then flush. Fairy liquid helps slide everything down and boiling water breaks down the solids.."
