Businesses can glean expert advice on futureproofing companies at a special event this November.
Eco is opening its state-of-the-art HQ in Annan on November 23 for an informative IT event replete with expert advice and networking opportunities.
The free event, 'Future-proofing your Business', hosted by Integrity IT, part of the Eco Group, aims to outfit businesses with strategies to effectively combat a plethora of cyber challenges and opportunities.
Integrity IT has a base at Rosehill Industrial Estate, Carlisle.
Experts from Sophos and Giacom will join Integrity IT and Eco specialists to discuss key topics including cyber security, the digital switchover, and carbon accountancy.
The event, running from 10am until 2pm, will also prepare businesses for the impending 2025 analogue phone network switch-off.
Attendees will receive support from Giacom and Integrity to smoothly navigate this transition.
The event will also spotlight EcoMetrix's carbon accounting, helping businesses be privy to their environmental impact via a presentation by Gary Robertson, Eco’s Group Opportunity Strategist.
Ryan Moffat from Integrity will share insights about attaining the pivotal Cyber Essentials certification.
Michael Quinn, Integrity IT’s Head of Operations, said: “This is the ideal chance for businesses in Scotland and the north of England to get up to speed on all aspects of IT which are going to affect them in the short and medium term.
“It’s also a great opportunity to network with like-minded business people and find out more about how Integrity IT and Eco Group can help support businesses across the region with a whole range of services and capabilities.
“We look forward to welcoming everyone here to Eco’s impressive self-built headquarters for what promises to be an insightful and enjoyable day.”
