A Cumbrian hospice charity is set to hold a pop up cafe next month to support bereaved individuals.
Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland will support the Good Grief Trust Grief Awareness Week theme of #BetterTogetherCafé, by having a bereavement support pop-up café in Penrith.
The Bereavement and Family Support Team have organised the event at St Andrew’s Parish Rooms, Penrith on Thursday, December 7 from 11 to 1pm.
The morning aims to bring communities together by supporting individuals who have experienced the loss of someone close to them, recently or in the past. It does not matter how long ago.
This is an opportunity to have refreshments in the company of others, knowing that you are not alone.
Members of the Bereavement and Family Support Team will be present to welcome you and can offer guidance if needed. Hospice at Home is hoping to establish a regular group get-together following this event.
