A free ‘festive fun day’ is being held this weekend in Carlisle.

Santa will be there, joined by his friends Douglas and Tammi, as well as stilt walker Mary the Faerie, Jason the juggling jester, and face painter Silly Gilly.

This will also be an opportunity to support local market traders and various pop-up stalls offering a variety of goods and services at affordable prices, from clothing, jewellery, gifts, festive food, seasonal wreaths, and flowers.

New traders include Reiver Reads, Victoria B Creations and Beautiful Clothing, Star Brow and Beauty, and El Pollo Loco.

Soon to open is Dough-Luxe offering cheesecakes, cookies, scones, doughnuts and more.

The event takes place on Saturday, November 25, between 11am and 3pm at the market hall.
