Cumberland Council have introduced new CCTV cameras at a recycling centre to try and reduce cases of fly tipping.
Brampton Recycling Centre now has a large sign beside the recycling bins on the upper Union Lane car park in the town.
It reads: "Overt and covert CCTV in operation. If the bins are full please do not leave waste at the side, doing so is an offence of fly tipping and offenders will be prosecuted.
"Cumberland Council would like to thank those using the site responsibly."
