Mountain rescuers were called out to stretcher a woman back to the base of a mountain after she injured her knee and ankle near the summit.
At 1.40pm yesterday (November 24), Keswick Mountain Rescue Team (KMRT) and Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team were called out to Haystacks.
A spokesperson from KMRT said: "As Cockermouth were low on numbers they requested assistance from Keswick for a stretcher carry back to the team vehicles at Dubs Hut above Honister."
They added that the callout involved 10 KMRT members and lasted three hours and 18 minutes.
