Police are investigating a report of a teenage cyclist sexually assaulting two separate children on consecutive days.
The first incident happened on Upperby Road, Carlisle, at around 7.55am on November 23.
The second happened the next day on Boundary Road, Carlisle, at a similar time.
A 14-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault by touching and has been released pending further inquiries.
Police said they would like to reassure the local community that there is no known risk to the wider public.
