It was the latest remarkable show of support for Carlisle United.
Some 556 fans were at Reading despite a 662-mile round trip for many on a Tuesday night.
It was a first opportunity for United fans to watch their team at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.
Their superb backing for the Blues, alas, was not rewarded as Paul Simpson's side were thrashed 5-1.
