Edward PLASKETT

PLASKETT Edward Peacefully at home on Tuesday 28th November 2023 with his loving family by his side, Edward aged 85 years. Beloved husband of the late Audrey, a dearly loved dad of Andrew and Gary, father-in-law and a much loved granda, brother and uncle. Edward will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. A Service of Love and Celebration will be held at Carlisle Cemetery Chapel on Monday 11th December at 12:00noon, followed by interment in the cemetery. FOULDS Steven James Passed peacefully after a long illness 22nd November 2023 A much loved husband, father, grandfather and friend.

 

William DOUGLAS

DOUGLAS William Passed away November 24th aged 97. Preceeded by much loved wife Doris and independent till virtually the last. Peaceful now Dad...love from Dave, Andy, Rose and families

 

James Michael FINLAY

FINLAY James Michael (of Thursby) Peacefully at Allan Court Care Home on Wednesday, 15th November 2023, aged 88. Widower of Ann, loving father to Fiona, Alison and Janet, father-in-law to Alan and Michelle, and grandfather to Esther, Miriam, Imogen, Stephen and Joseph. Sadly missed by family, friends and colleagues in the antiques trade.

 

Margaret KITCHIN

KITCHIN Margaret Died peacefully at Pennine Lodge Care Home on Sunday 26th November 2023. Margaret, aged 90, dearly loved wife of Albert Eric, a much loved mother to Michael and the late Linda, mother-in-law to Jacqueline, and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. Funeral to be held at Carlisle Crematorium on Tuesday 12th December at 1pm. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Margaret to Eden Valley Hospice, Carlisle.

 

Jane WAUGH

WAUGH Jane Elizabeth (Jinny) Rob wishes to sincerely thank family, friends and neighbours for their kind words, thoughtful cards, and flowers following the sad passing of his wife Jinny. Grateful thanks to all who attended the funeral service, the overwhelming support will always be remembered and deeply appreciated. A special thanks to Julie Laval and Roy Hetherington for all their support and help which couldn't have been done without. Warmest thanks to Rev'd Ian Johnston and Melvyn Redgers for a lovely heartfelt service. Many thanks to all the staff at Carlisle Healthcare and Kingston Court Care Home for their outstanding care, kindness and support given. ROOKE Gillian (Gill) Suddenly and unexpectedly, at home on Tuesday 21st November 2023, Gill aged 70 years. Much loved mam of Paula, Steven and the late Andrea, adored nana/grandma of Jay, Alexia, Boe, Connie, Raia, Amal and Kora and sister of Kate, Chris (Pip), Kevin (Chipper) and Malcolm (Boo). Gill will be greatly missed by all who knew her, including Alan. Funeral Service to be held at Carlisle Crematorium on Tuesday 12th December at 3:40pm. HOLMSHAW David Arthur Jean, Judith and family would like to sincerely thank all friends and everyone who has helped care for David and supported the family.
