HOSPICE at Home West Cumbria is offering emotional therapeutic support to the public.
This is to mark Grief Awareness Week from December 2 until December 8.
A spokesperson said: "Our Family and Bereavement Support team is a tailor-made service that offers specialist care and advice for patients and those important to them.
"This support also is offered to Carers and those important to them during illness and into the period of Bereavement.
"We have supported 699 people in the last 5 years.
"We offer Emotional Theraputic Support for patients and those important to them, following a diagnosis of a life limiting illness.
"Our Care and Support are provided in different locations across West Cumbria, people’s homes, Care Homes, Hospitals, in the Community, and our Therapy and Information Centre in Workington.
"Family and Bereavement services are provided free of charge, but we rely on donations to continue to provide our services.
"Hospice at Home West Cumbria offers a non-discriminatory support that adopts an agreed, consistent, approach and attitude to end-of-life and Bereavement Care.
