A WOMAN remains in custody after being arrested on suspicion of assaulting two bouncers at a Carlisle pub.
Cumbria Police said they were called at around 9.15pm last night (December 3) to a report of the incident at the Caledonian pub on Botchergate.
A 52-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of racially related common assault and remains in police custody.
The police are asking the public for help with their investigation.
Anyone who witnessed the incident and has yet to come forward is urged to do so.
