Cragganmore Ceilidh Band plans to ring in 2024 with a lively New Year's Eve party at Netherby Hall, Longtown.

The esteemed Scottish trio, including acclaimed violinist Bob Cairns, invites people to enjoy a night of live music at the Grade-II listed historic mansion.

Over 30 years, the band has gained international recognition as one of the UK's best professional ceilidh groups.

Band member Bob Cairns is eager about the upcoming performance.

He said: "Cragganmore Ceilidh Band has played at venues across the world and we are really excited to play at such a grand venue as Netherby Hall’s Oak Hall.

"It promises to be a great night of live music and entertainment, so come and join us and dance your way into 2024."

Netherby Hall carries a rich legacy dating back to the Roman times.

Owners Gerald and Margo Smith have restored the mansion, gardens, and surrounding buildings skilfully, through a multi-million pound project.

Kim Capstick, Netherby Hall’s Operations Manager, has high hopes for the event.

She said: "The Oak Hall is a truly stunning venue for live music, and we’re particularly excited to be hosting Cragganmore Ceilidh Band for a night of Gay Gordons, barn dances and waltzes for a New Year’s Eve party which our guests will never forget."

The event offers a seasoned caller from Cragganmore Ceilidh Band leading all dances.

Tickets - which come with a buffet meal, are now open for booking at www.netherbyhall.co.uk/events.

The Hall provides accommodation in their luxury self-catering cottages and apartments.
