A road in South Cumbria was blocked after a crash which caused minor injuries.
The A590 near Ulverston was blocked both ways at Alpine Road, and traffic was queueing.
The incident was ongoing since it was reported at 5.35pm today (Dec 5).
The police and ambulance service were on the scene and delays were up to an hour, with traffic backing up as far as Haverthwaite, reportedly.
Police were filtering traffic, which is moving slowly.
Update, 7.29pm: There were multiple reports suggesting a lorry blocked a back road near The Rake behind Penny Bridge.
Update, 8pm: The crash, which involved two cars, caused a minor injury.
One elderly person was taken to hospital, according to the police, as a precaution, although the injuries are minor.
The road is now fully reopened.
