A CARLISLE primary school choir is promising to bring the Carlisle community together in festive harmony in a special Christmas concert.
The musical spectacle performed by pupils at Cumwhinton Primary School at Carlisle Cathedral on December 12 is scheduled from 2pm to 2.45pm and is open to all within the community.
The 'magical' concert will feature the school's musicians, who will perform a mixture of traditional carols and modern seasonal tunes.
The event is free for all, emphasising the school's commitment to fostering a sense of togetherness and spreading cheer to everyone in Carlisle.
Pouring hours into practice, these talented performers aim to captivate the audience, in the beautiful sites of Carlisle Cathedral with tunes that capture the true spirit of Christmas.
Headteacher Jon Stewart said: "Don't miss this opportunity to experience the magic of the season through the harmonious sounds of Cumwhinton School's talented musicians.
"Bring your friends, family, and a festive spirit as we gather to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year in the grandeur of Carlisle Cathedral.
"See you there," he said.
Donations will be welcome to help support both Carlisle Cathedral and the musical life of Cumwhinton Primary School.
