A ROAD near Carlisle was closed this evening following a police incident.
A Cumbria Police spokesperson said they were called out at 4.10pm to reports of a concern about the welfare of a man.
The road had been blocked from the roundabout on the A689 coming west, and emergency services were attending and on the scene.
A post from the Cumbria Road Watch group indicated that the road has since reopened.
