A housing project in Whitehaven has reached completion, with homeowners already in the 14 new homes.
Saved by housing association Home Group following original developer setbacks, the final phase of the Jefferson Park housing development has now been finished.
Surplus land was utilised to add additional housing to the area.
The completion of this phase came about via a successful cooperation between Home Group, new homeowners, and local services.
Homeowners received the keys to their newly finished homes the same day they were completed.
Lisa Russell, head of service delivery at Home Group, said: "Completing these homes is another important milestone in supporting people here in Whitehaven, and across Cumbria.
"It has been brilliant to see how well the team has worked with customers and local services to ensure these homes were allocated as soon as they were ready.
"Our investment here in Cumbria is a key part of our business, and our work to step in and then fully deliver Jefferson Park is just one part of a much wider strategy for the region.
