Police have arrested a Carlisle teenager for possession with intent to supply a controlled substance.
A spokesperson for Carlisle Police said: "You told us you had concerns over drug use, dealing and activity in the Carlisle City area.
"Last night PC 2810 arrested an 18 year old Carlisle man for possession with intent to supply a controlled substance. This male will now have a criminal record for the remainder of his life.

"Drugs ruin communities, drive up antisocial behaviour and increase criminality in our communities.
"Your neighbourhood teams will continue to show contempt for those in our communities who look to profit from the misery they cause.
"If you are reading this and have a drugs issue, book an appointment with your GP today, before officers book you an appointment in front of a Judge or Jury."
