A CAROLS around the tree event has been organised for one West Cumbrian village, after two councillors have worked together to get a tree installed for the residents of Harrington.
The Christmas Carols around the Harrington tree event will take place tomorrow, December 16 at the tree on Church Road, Harrington with festivities taking place from 3pm.
The event has been organised by Harrington town councillors Nath Martin, Denise Rollo and Paul Larkin who worked together to install a tree in the village.
There will be a festive singalong around the tree before a visit from Santa and refreshments provided in Harrington Youth Club.
A spokesman for the event sad: "Come join as as we have Christmas Carol's around the Christmas tree with music by Cleator Moor Brass Band.
"Please join us afterwards in the Harrington Youth club for refreshments. We also have a very special visit from Santa and his elves."
