CARLISLE police have issued night out safety guidelines for the Christmas period.
During night outs throughout the Christmas period, police ask that people look after themselves and friends.
People should ensure that they have a meeting place or plan to get home if separated and if you feel unsafe at any point speak to a member of staff, safer street volunteers or a police officer.
There is also a welfare tent which is located at the Railway Station from 9pm.
The police hope everyone enjoys a safe and enjoyable night out.
