A MAN in his 40s has died following a fire in his caravan near Carlisle on Boxing Day.
A joint investigation between police and Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service was carried out following the fatal caravan fire at Low Harker.
Police were contacted shortly after 11am on December 26.
An occupant of the caravan, a man aged in his 40s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The circumstances of the death are not being treated as suspicious at this time and the coroner has been informed, police said.
